Safeguarding at Langley Mill

Langley Mill Church of England Infant School and Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff, volunteers, visitors and contractors to share this commitment. Safeguarding is EVERYONE’S responsibility and as an employee or when working in or visiting our school you should play a full part in keeping yourself and the children safe.

Our school has robust policies and procedures in place and expects anyone visiting or working on our premises to have an understanding of their roles and responsibilities in safeguarding and expectations around conduct and behaviour.

If you have any concerns that a child has been harmed, is at risk of harm, or you receive a disclosure, please contact the main reception as quickly as possible, who will put you in contact with one of the Designated Senior Leaders (DSLs) with responsibility for child protection and safeguarding. Alternatively, you can email our safeguarding email and a Designated Safeguarding Lead will get back to you.
