Today is our Pupil Voice sponsored silence event in school. I wonder how long the children will last!
We will register the children as normal and then the sponsored silence will begin.
Hopefully we will raise enough money for the Buddy Bench the Pupil Voice have chosen.

Asda have been in touch to tell us about a fantastic promotion they have running from today in their cafes.
Message from Asda:
We are offering a FREE bowl of porridge and a small hot drink (tea, americano or hot chocolate) from today until Wednesday March 20th from 8.30am - 12 noon. This is open to everyone, 1 bowl per person, per day. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
We are working in partnership with Quaker oats, for every bowl redeemed in our Cafes, Quaker will donate 10 bowls of porridge to Fareshare.
Our Cafe is also still running the Kids Eat for £1 scheme as well as the over 60's £1 Winter warmers soup and a cob offer.
I thought with school being closed for half term soon it might help out some of your staff, children and their families.

Thank you to everyone who came to our Carols by Candlelight last night. It was lovely to see so many of our families and school community singing together (and eating mince pies!). We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.
